Love is enjoying music together

Maybe you even wrote it in your list Love is but for me, music is very important. I love the variety of music, I always turn on the radio to follow the latest developments in the field of music. That’s why also was on my list: Love is enjoying music together.” This week I was reminded by the theme back to an old song, Your love is king by Sade. I couldn’t get it out of my head for several days. This song fits perfectly with moments 4 moods,  some moments go along with a perfect mood. Beautiful sensual song! Below you find the lyrics, but you can hear the song live here Let me know what music means to you.

Sade – Your Love Is King

Your love is king
Crown you with my heart
Your love is king
Never need to part
Your kisses ring
Round and round and round my head
Touching the very part of me
It’s making my soul sing
Tearing the very heart of me
I’m crying out for more

Your love is king
Crown you with my heart
Your love is king
You’re the ruler of my heart
Your kisses ring
Round and round and round my head
Touching the very part of me
It’s making my soul sing
I’m crying out for more
Your love is king

I’m coming on
I’m coming
You’re making me dance
Inside

Your love is king
Crown you with my heart
Your love is king
Never need to part
Your kisses ring
Round and round and round my head
Touching the very part of me
It’s making my soul sing
Tearing the very heart of me
I’m crying out for more

Touching the very part of me
It’s making my soul sing
I’m crying out for more
Your love is king

This is no
Blind faith
This is no
Sad or sorry dream
This is no
Blind faith

Your love, your love is real
(your love is king)
Gotta crown me with your heart
(your love is king)
Never never need to part
(your love is king)
Touch me
(your love is king)
never letting go
(your love is king)
Your Love is King
never letting go
(your love is king)
never gonna give it up
(your love is king)
I’m comming
(your love is king)
making me dance

Love is …

love isYou might also remember from the 80/90 the Love is ” and then there was always a wisdom behind. This week’s quote ‘live, laugh, love ” made me suddenly think about it. I used to have a duvet cover with this theme, the girl and the boy in the nude with the words “Love is Now I have learned that love is in everything and that nothing is more important than that and that love in good friendships, actually even is at least as important in all contact between people. Make yourself a list of  Love is”  and fill in, write as much as possible, you will see that it will make you happy!

Children laugh on average 300 times a day, adults, once they have passed the limit of fifty years , laugh only two to three times a day. It seems, therefore, that we laugh a little rusty and lost the child in ourselves. So we come to the conclusion it is important to continue being a child. The following poem says it all:

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite, for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of sixty more than a boy of twenty. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

Whether sixty or sixteen, there is in every human being’s heart the lure of wonder, the unfailing child-like appetite of what’s next, and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long are you young.

When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at twenty, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch the waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at eighty.
